Reviews and Ratings
Our stay at the Villas Playa Samara had its ups and downs but showed promise. The resort is beautifully landscaped and offers a stunning beach. However, we faced some management issues and service inconsistencies during our first week, which improved over time. Overall, while we enjoyed our time there, better management could enhance the experience significantly.
This resort offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere with spacious and clean villas. The friendly staff makes you feel welcome, and the food is good, though portions could be bigger. However, the lack of nighttime entertainment can make evenings quiet, and the Wi-Fi connectivity is poor, which may be a deal breaker for some guests. Also, consider the long travel time from San Jose, as there are no shuttle options from the airport.
Our stay at Hotel Villas Playa Samara was wonderful overall. The beautiful grounds and ocean views from our villa really stood out, and the food was consistently delicious. However, we did hope for daily room service and a few more dining options. The staff was amazing and made our experience even better, but it's worth noting that the drinking options at the bar could be improved since the wait times were a bit long.
I recently stayed at this resort and found it to be a mixed experience. The beach is beautiful but not sandy, and the resort itself is quite basic. While the villas are spacious and clean, the lack of entertainment and poor Wi-Fi affected my overall enjoyment. The food was decent, though limited in variety, and the staff were friendly. However, the service could have been better during busy times.
